Namibia is a year-round destination. May–October (dry season) is best for wildlife as animals gather at waterholes — ideal for Etosha game viewing. November–April brings green landscapes and newborn wildlife. The Namib Desert is spectacular year-round; the summer months can be very hot inland (40°C+) but the coast stays cool year-round.
All Tourist Lads Namibia journeys operate in a private 4×4 with a dedicated expert guide. There are no shared vehicles, no fixed departure dates, and no other groups. Your itinerary runs entirely to your pace and interests.
Yes — all three excursions can be added to any Namibia safari itinerary. The Skeleton Coast Explorer pairs naturally with any Swakopmund stay. The Sossusvlei Sunrise Experience is built into many Sossusvlei overnights. The Etosha Game Drive can extend any Etosha visit. We design custom combinations on request.

The Sossusvlei dune climb is physically demanding — deep soft sand at steep angles can be exhausting. Dune 45 is more accessible for most fitness levels. Big Daddy (the tallest) is challenging and should only be attempted if you are fit and in good health. We advise all guests on which dune is appropriate for their fitness level.
For peak season (July–October) we recommend booking 4–6 months in advance, particularly for Etosha lodges which fill quickly. The private 4×4 format means we have more flexibility than group tours. Contact us with your preferred dates and we’ll confirm availability within 24 hours.
