💡 Sossusvlei Tips
The Sossusvlei experience requires an early start. We enter the park at opening to maximise the golden morning light and cooler temperatures for dune climbing.
Dune 45 is accessible on foot and suited to most fitness levels. Big Daddy is more challenging — steep, deep sand, and demanding at altitude. Your guide will advise which is most appropriate for your group.
The walk to Deadvlei is approximately 1km across sand from the 4×4 shuttle point. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Bring water.
