Day 1 – Zambezi River

Your adventure begins as your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to Pioneers Lodge. After settling in, enjoy a sunset dinner cruise along the Zambezi River.

Drift peacefully past herds of hippos and elephants, enjoy sparkling wine, and savor tasty canapés. Keep an eye out for crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, giraffes sipping water, and maybe even a waterbuck hiding nearby. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting eagles and kingfishers, while the sunset over the falls creates a stunning backdrop.

Finish the evening with a gourmet dinner, where you can relax under the stars while listening to the sounds of Africa.

Day 2 – Victoria Falls

Start your morning with breakfast, then embark on a guided tour to the rainforest at the edge of Victoria Falls. Stand at stunning viewpoints, feel the refreshing mist from the falls, and capture sweeping panoramic views of this magnificent wonder. Along the way, you may spot monkeys and hear the vibrant calls of exotic birds.

Return to your lodge to relax, and in the afternoon, choose from a range of exciting activities like a helicopter tour, bungee jump, or visit Devil’s Pool. You can also explore the Victoria Falls Bridge and learn about its history.

Day 3 – Chobe National Park

Enjoy breakfast before heading on a full-day excursion to Chobe National Park, just outside Kasane in Botswana. After crossing into Botswana, begin with a scenic boat ride along the Chobe River. Around lunchtime, you’ll stop at a riverside hotel for a meal.

In the afternoon, take an exciting game drive through the park, where you might see elephants swimming in the river, buffalo grazing on the banks, and a variety of bird species. Look out for lions, giraffes, and perhaps even the rare African wild dog.

Return to Victoria Falls in the evening, where your Zimbabwean guide will meet you and take you back to your hotel.

Day 4 – Victoria Falls

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed final day in Victoria Falls, or choose an activity you didn’t experience the previous day. You could visit a local market, meet residents, or even enjoy a cultural village visit.

Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to the Rockefeller Hotel for check-in, where you can rest or enjoy a meal at the hotel.

Day 5 – Cape Town

After breakfast, take a ferry to Robben Island, the famous site where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Afterward, explore Cape Town with a city tour, visiting iconic locations like Table Mountain, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the city and surrounding areas.

Wander through the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood, known for its unique Malay culture and architecture, and enjoy a meal with delicious Malay cuisine.

Day 6 – Franschhoek

Return to the Rockefeller Hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner there.

Day 8 – Cape Town

Explore Cape Town at your own pace today. Visit the V&A Waterfront, shop for local crafts, or enjoy a leisurely lunch with views of Table Mountain. You can also visit the Company’s Garden or the Iziko South African Museum for a dose of culture and history.

End the day with a sunset picnic on Signal Hill, one of the best spots for city views.

Day 9 – Cape Point

Today’s journey takes you along the picturesque coast to Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. You’ll also have the chance to see African penguins at Boulders Beach, and stroll through the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

In the evening, head to the V&A Waterfront for dinner and enjoy the harbor views as the sun sets.

Day 10 – Johannesburg and Soweto

Fly to Johannesburg after breakfast and set off on a city tour. Visit historical landmarks in the city center and Soweto, including the Apartheid Museum and the Hector Pieterson Museum.
