DAY 2

Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience
The Legendary Silverback Encounter
After an early breakfast, prepare for the highlight of your safari — mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your day begins at approximately 8:00 AM with a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers covering trekking rules, forest safety, conservation guidelines and responsible wildlife viewing.
After the briefing, your experienced ranger guides will lead you into the ancient rainforest to search for your assigned gorilla family. The trek can take between 2–6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas and forest conditions.
When you finally encounter the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat — watching silverbacks protect their families, mothers care for young gorillas, and juveniles play among the trees. After trekking, return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
Later, enjoy a cultural walk around the communities surrounding Bwindi Forest, discovering local traditions, daily village life, community conservation projects and how tourism supports forest protection.
